The Kalob Griffin Band is an up-and-coming band born in State College, Pennsylvania. They have embarked on two national tours, opening for Michael Franti & Spearhead and as the supporting band for emerging British singer/songwriter Bobby Long (ATO Records).
KGB had two main ambitions for their website. 1 – Let the fans know what’s happening with KGB, where they’ll be, how to buy tracks and how to stay in touch. 2 – Help new fans, potential collaborators and concert hosts find out about KGB, their back-story, and the type of music they produce.
The KGB website will be a living organism, with the band’s manager keeping on top of the news, photos and videos. This meant that the website had to be created in a manner that allowed the manager to update these pages without having to know the ins-and-outs of web development. With the help of the WordPress Content Management System, KGB will be able to keep their website fresh, and put up new photos, music, videos and concert dates without having to come to me every time they have an update to make.
